Jesus believed that children are precious in the here and now and He gave them His full attention and love. At Bay Leaf Baptist Church we too view children in the same manner. Therefore, we seek to reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, our desire is to disciple them with the Word of God and assist them in developing a strong foundation in their faith while providing a safe environment where they can have fun and build lasting relationships as they grow closer to God.

VBS 2013
Every summer, for one full week, we have Vacation Bible School for the children of Bay Leaf and the community. Hundreds attend our VBS because it is so exciting and thrilling for the children. It is a time when they build new friendships, learn God’s Word, apply biblical truths to their lives, and have tons of fun!

Children from older 2’s through 5th grade enjoy our AWANA Clubs. This is a mid-week ministry that your children will talk about all week.
From 6:15 - 7:45 and runs on a traditional school year schedule, although children may join at any time of the year.

Hats for Heroes mission project:
Our T&T girls had the privilege to create care packages to send to American soldiers. The packages consisted of letters of gratitude, a bag of candy and crocheted/knitted hats made by the Helping Hands Ministry.
Children's Church
Children’s Church is a means of imparting Biblical truth to children. Therefore, the material Bay Leaf uses is true to Scripture and presents the Bible as one continuous, interconnected story of the revelation of the character of God and His plan of redemption of man.

Christian Life Institute for Kids offers discipleship classes that will help children to grow in their spiritual journey.

I'm A Christian Now
I’m A Christian Now is a great children’s four-week class for Elementary children who have accepted Jesus as their Savior! The format beautifully helps children understand the basics of what it means to live a Christian life. This class includes discussion tips on all those “How-To” topics like: Becoming a Christian, Participating in Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, Being a Member of the Church, Following God with Actions like Developing a Quiet Time.
