Throughout the year the Children’s Ministry offers special events open to our church and to our surrounding community. We believe these fun, family friendly events are a great way for families to come together and enjoy a time of fellowship. Below are some of our annual events, check back frequently because we may add special family activities as the year progresses. (Click on the event to learn more)
Creation Kidz Summer Day Camp (preschool)
Singing songs, making new friends, playing fun games, making cool crafts and sharing in a Bible story..does that sound like fun? That’s just a sample of the fun things your child will enjoy during our Preschool Summer Day Camp. The camp day begins at
9:30 and ends at 1:30.
Children will need to bring a lunch each day. Our camp is open to infants (limited spaces available) through Kindergarten. Children who have just completed Kindergarten are welcome to attend.

Christmas Wrap(preschool)
Parents, need some extra time to complete your Christmas shopping? Your children will enjoy game time, arts and crafts, a Bible story, snacks and much more during their days at Christmas Wrap. Kids are divided into age appropriate groups and travel with counselors through each activity site. A snack is provided each day with a fun craft that you can get all "wrapped" up in. Don't forget to bring a lunch and we hope to see you there!

Harvest Festival The leaves are changing, temperatures are dropping and families are enjoying the crisp cool weather of fall. Join us on
October 31, 5:30-8:00pm as we come together to celebrate this wonderful time of harvest. Our Family Life Center is transformed into a carnival where children and families will enjoy
large inflatables, yummy food, and scripture based carnival style games. Children are able to win prizes or candy at each game. We encourage kids to come dressed in costume as someone from the Bible or any other child-friendly character. Make plans now to join us for our Harvest Festival as we offer you a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.

Eggcitement was in the air as children came with the expectation to find many eggs. They were not disappointed, 7500 eggs, filled with candy, were discovered. Some were also filled with a note indicating that they were a winner of a Webkin. Large Easter baskets were given away as prizes. The real meaning of Easter was unfolded before the hunt. Needless to say the children and their parents had a great time. 600 people came to this event!

What a wonderful time of year. The air is warm, flowers are beginning to bloom and we are all enjoying the celebration of new birth. Join us and our church family every Spring as we gather together on the soccer field to enjoy some
large inflatables, a climbing wall, pony rides, toddler playhouse, and of course food.
Our Spring Festival is open to our church families
and our community. Activities are planned for all ages of children and even the adults. This is a fun day of celebrating your faith.

Every summer, for one full week, we have Vacation Bible School for the children of Bay Leaf and the community. Hundreds attend our VBS because it is so exciting and thrilling for the children.
