Bay Leaf Kids offer opportunities for Missions.
Missions in Awana Clubs
Each year the Bay Leaf Awana Club participates in Adopt-A-Club. This program helps churches abroad have an Awana Club.
For more than a month this year, money was collected for the Awana Adopt-A-Club. $680.00 was raised to support two Awana Clubs in Kenya, Africa. In addition to financial support, Bay Leaf Baptist Church presented two Awana flags to each club in September 2007.
Awana also participates in raising support for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Children will seek donations for a Bike-A-Thon or Walk-A-Thon.
Missions in Vacation Bible School
A vital part of Vacation Bible School is Missions. Every day during our VBS week, an offering is collected to support domestic and foreign missions.
This program helps churches abroad have an Awana Club.
