Experienced, loving teachers and staff are one reason that parents continue trusting LLLC with their children year after year.
Eva Mathers, Director
Thank you for considering Little Lambs Learning Center (LLLC). It is my sincere desire that all children at LLLC learn about Jesus, enjoy coming to preschool, and that you as parents find this to be a loving program. We are not a business, but a ministry, and we love to take care of our families. At LLLC, we believe that children learn best by experience through play. We are a hands on program and we strive to present information to children in a variety of ways. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you more about our program and about your child so that you can decide if LLLC is the right place for you. Thank you for your time and consideration!
In Christ’s Service, Eva E. Mathers

* Parents receive a weekly note from the teacher with details of the Biblical, educational, and developmental lessons the children are learning.
* Each classroom is set up to encourage a sense of learning, discovery and community. This is accomplished by planning and providing a variety of learning centers as well as experiences and activities that support children's learning.
* Classroom learning is enhanced with our weekly specials – chapel, music, and discovery. See Weekly Specials in the next section.
Chapel, Music, and Discovery are integral parts of our weekly schedule that provide fun, engaging learning experiences.
Chapel - Stories and Scripture about beloved Bible heroes, Jesus and His life, and God's love are shared with children in our Two through Kindergarten classes. The children go to the Chapel for these services which are typically led by Bay Leaf Baptist Church pastors or LLLC staff.
Music - Through the use of movement, songs, and instruments children develop imagination, gross and fine motor skills, memory, hearing, and sight. All ages attend music class and Two through Kindergarten classes participate in Christmas and Easter musical performances.
Discovery - One through Kindergarten classes attend discovery for age-appropriate, Bible-based activities to help the children learn about the world around them.
Our daily activities provide a variety of experiences to help children develop to their highest potential.
Bible: Interactive Bible story time is part of each day as we seek to bring Old and New Testament stories to life and students learn weekly memory verses. Prayer is integral to our day and incorporated in many ways.
Centers: Throughout the week, children participate in small group arts and crafts, dramatic play, language and literacy, problem-solving puzzles, blocks and building, manipulatives, math concepts, science and discovery, and fine-motor development.
Circle Time: Children are introduced to the theme for the week, actively participate in calendar time, and develop listening and verbal skills and social awareness.
Recess: Free play on our age specific playgrounds or indoor gym in case of inclement weather is a highlight of the day for many children.
Snack/Lunch: Parent-provided snacks and lunch are eaten in the classroom enabling children to practice social and verbal skills and table manners.
Specials: Students attend either Music or Discovery each day. There are no specials on Wednesdays.
Every child is a unique child of God and should have the opportunity to develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically to their highest potential in a loving environment. With a structured day and loving teachers, every opportunity will be provided for your child to feel secure as they discover the world around them.
At LLLC, we strive to:
* Provide a spiritual foundation for children.
* Help children develop trusting and responsible relationships with other children and adults.
* Provide social interaction with other children.
* Provide activities designed to develop gross and fine motor skills.
* Provide opportunities for children to succeed at the tasks suitable to their developmental level.
* Provide opportunities for children to develop basic learning skills for pre-reading, pre-writing, and
math integrated in the day's activities.
