The Bay Leaf missions ministry provides four opportunities throughout the year for focused missions giving. They are the World Missions Auction, The Bay Leaf 5k, The Tee it Up Fore Missions Golf Tournament, and the World Mission/Lottie Moon Christmas offering
Opportunities to Give:
World Missions Auction: The World Missions Auction was held Saturday, March 24 in Bay Leaf's Family Life Center. It was a night of fellowship, food, and family fun. Many people came to stake your claim to items from jewelry, trips, golf outings, and sports memorabilia.
Bay Leaf 5k: In 2011 Bay Leaf hosted the first annual Bay Leaf 5k and Fun Run, called "Finish Well." All of its proceeds went toward funding a deep water well in Kenya, Africa to help alleviate their severe water shortage. Each year the 5k will highlight a different missions endeavor in order to raise both money and awareness. This year's 5k and fun-run will be held Saturday, June 9th. We encourage you to be a part of this tremendous opportunity to help a village. Click to view more information.
Tee it Up Fore Missions Golf Tournament: The 2012 Tee it Up Fore Missions Golf Tournament will be held at the Hasentree Golf Club's premiere Tom Fazio course on Monday, October 1. All proceeds support the mission endeavors of the college and young adult ministry at Bay Leaf.
