Preschool Children's Church

What a fun time of learning how to worship our God! Children participate in big worship with their parents and then have the opportunity to come and participate in their own worship service in our Preschool Chapel. Our worship leaders are taking the children on an adventure where they are learning to live like Jesus. Each week the children learn new songs, enjoy activities in our creation stations and learn and study an important Bible message. Life application helps the children learn how to apply Scripture to their own lives.

Kingdom Kids

In order to provide parents an opportunity to enjoy Worship, we offer child care during our 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. Children ages one month to three years are placed into age appropriate classrooms. During this time they will enjoy playing in centers, making a craft project or enjoying a Bible story.

Worship KidStyle

Let kids worship...like kids! That's what Worship KidStyle is all about. Fun music videos with motions lift hearts and hands to God. Cool arts and crafts bring focus on the Creator. Attention-holding, life application videos tell stories kids can relate to! Parents, please provide your child with a peanut-free bag supper and drink

Children ages four years old through Kindergarten can enjoy being a member of our preschool choir. Each Sunday evening they are taught basic music principles through fun activities and games. The children work on songs each week and prepare a Fall and Spring musical for parents and family members to enjoy.

Track in with Bay Leaf preschool. We offer a half-day track out program on Wednesdays from 9:30am to 1:30pm, throughout the year. We strive to create a stimulating learning environment where your kids will be blessed and enriched. Kids are able to worship the Lord through Bible stories, computers, crafts, music, water play, soccer, basketball, and much more!

Snack will be provided, but please pack a peanut-free lunch. We will also offer age-appropriate space for younger siblings if space is available.

Awana is an international, Bible-centered, ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs and programs. Bay Leaf Baptist Church offers Awana to children preschool through fifth grade. Our goal is to reach boys and girls, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of the phrase "approved workmen are not ashamed" (2 Timothy 2:15).

Our Awana Club takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6:15—7:45 and runs on a traditional school year schedule, although children may join at any time of the year.

Joy Jr.

J.O.Y. Jr, is a special Bible study program offered for children of women attending J.O.Y. Bible study on Wednesday mornings. Children are placed into age appropriate rooms and participate in their own special Bible study. This fall teachers are leading children through a study of Isaiah. Each child has their own workbook containing activities and coloring pages designed to enhance their learning experience. This program follows the traditional school calendar. J.O.Y. Jr. is held on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 am until 11:30 am and is open to children ages infant through Kindergarten.

Summer at Bay Leaf for 6 weeks through 5th Grade!

We offer a half-day summer program from 9:30am to 1:30pm. In our program kids are able to worship the Lord through Bible stories, crafts, music, age appropriate play and other organized rec. activities!

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, for one full week, we have Vacation Bible School for the children of Bay Leaf and the community. Hundreds attend our VBS because it is so exciting and thrilling for the children. It is a time when they build new friendships, learn God’s Word, apply biblical truths to their lives, and have tons of fun!
