 HOLIDAYS HONORING HIM
Over 250 ladies of Bay Leaf and their guest were uplifted and refreshed through God's word in time for the holidays on Thursday, November 6th at our annual Holidays Honoring Him event. BAY LEAF LADIES RETREAT
The purpose of the annual Bay Leaf Ladies Retreat is to provide our women with an opportunity to relax and renew hearts. For some, it might be an opportunity to make their first new friends at Bay Leaf. It might be a reprieve from life’s everyday problems and the distractions of the world. For others, it's a weekend to hear God’s direction for their lives.
The 2009 Ladies Retreat will be held at the Caraway Conference Center, March 20-22. Email Amy Mount at rovermommy@hotmail.com or call her at 844-7235 if you are interested in serving on a committee.
Locations for the retreat have varied from Caraway Conference Center in a beautiful, peaceful wooded setting near Asheboro, NC to the glistening coastal waters at Fort Caswell, NC. Each location affords the opportunity for participants to enjoy this beautiful world God has created for us all.
Past retreats have included skits, country line-dance lessons, talent shows, and many other surprising activities.

- Spiritual Makeover (1 Peter 3:3-5a) led by Rachel Olsen
- The Joy Cruise (Lamentations 5:21) led by Mary Southerland
- The Comfort Zone (II Corinthians 1:3-7) led by Sharon Hoffman
- Under Construction (Jeremiah 29:11) led by Joanne Wallace
- Heart Transplant (Psalm 51:10, 12) led by Yvonne Howard Chapman
