We are excited for you to plan a visit to Bay Leaf. Whether it's Saturday night, Sunday morning, or one of the many activities we have throughout the week, it is our desire to create a place for every generation to draw closer to God and one another. Bay Leaf is a community of believers that seeks to worship and grow not just on weekends, but every day. Please use this site to plan your visit and contact us with any questions!
Where Do I Park?
When you first pull into our parking lot, you will notice many spaces including signs that direct you to special guest parking. These parking spaces are designated along the sidewalk next to our playground and provide easy access to our entrance.
We also have numerous parking spaces that are wheel-chair accessible and even Special Parking for senior adults who need to be closer to the building. Contact for more info or to obtain a Special Parking pass.
What Services Do You Have?
We have three in-person worship services at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
We have a single worship service at 5:00 PM. Children 5 years of age and younger have a Bible study group designed specifically for them.
What Should I Wear?
You’ll receive a friendly welcome at Bay Leaf no matter what you wear. On Sunday mornings you'll see a range from business casual to suits and dresses. Saturday evening is very casual.
Where Do I Go?
Please make your way into our doors where you can easily get connected at one our Greeter Stations. We have a gift for you and one of our greeters will be happy to help you find a Sunday School class or Worship Service.
We have four services at Bay Leaf. The message is the same, but the style of music differs. Each lasts about an hour and are all open to anyone of any generation.
What Are All These Services About?
Sometimes it is difficult to know what to expect when visiting a new church. Terms are thrown around and used in different ways. Here is how we used them to describe our worship services:
Traditional: Our traditional service is primarily hymn-based. Music is supported by a robed choir, piano and organ. This service enjoys a variety of types of music and hymns.
Blended: Our Blended service is a mixture of modern worship songs and hymns. Music in this service is supported by a large choir, an orchestra, drums and guitars. This is our most popular service.
Saturday: Our Saturday service is a modern service set outside our traditional church sanctuary. It takes place in a large room and is the most casual service. It is supported by a smaller set of musicians.
How Does Preaching Work With Services Spanning Multiple Days?
Bay Leaf has four unique worship services that occur on two separate days. We are not a church that preaches remotely over video screens. Every service is led by a pastor, in-person and on-site. The message and text is usually the same, but the delivery may be slightly different.
We believe that discipleship happens best in the context of relationships and therefore making disciples is the heart of our groups ministry. It is our goal to see that through our groups and classes we see people transformed by the power of the gospel so that they begin to think and act like Jesus. So whether you join a Sunday School class that meets at 9:30am or a small group that meets in homes throughout the week, we hope that you will get connected and grow together in groups!
What Kind Of Groups Do You Have On Sunday Mornings?
At 9:30AM we have Bible study groups (called Sunday School) for all ages. Some of these are men or women only, some are co-ed, and some are based on age from infants to senior adults. Take a look at the list below and feel free to Contact our Pastor of Discipleship and Assimilation, Billy Driver if you have any questions or would like suggestions.
When Do Small Groups Meet?
Small Groups meet throughout the week, mostly in the evening. Some meet on campus while others in the homes of church members. If you're interested in learning more about small groups, contact Billy Driver or visit our Group Finder.
Meet the Pastor.
We would love to meet you when you visit. After each service, our pastors are available in the rear of the Sanctuary where they would love to connect and give you a gift bag if you haven’t received one already.
If you have any further questions after one of our services, be sure to ask an usher, a greeter or staff member and we’d love to help you!
Can I Tour The Church Before Attending?
Not only can you tour our church, but we highly suggest you do this during the week with your family. Sunday morning can be overwhelming to know where to go. Coming in for a tour and meeting with a pastor is great way to plan out a Sunday visit. We would love to schedule a tour for you during the week or Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
