The Future of Bay Leaf at 540

God is faithfully growing our church, and we’re preparing for what’s next. Through our two-year Multiply Generosity Initiative, we’re building a permanent home for our 540 Campus, a space designed to serve our community and send disciples to the nations.

Watch the flythrough video to see the plans for our new facility and join us in thanking God for what He’s doing.

About Bay Leaf

Bay Leaf Baptist Church is one church gathering in two locations in the greater Raleigh area. We’re a multigenerational family with a deep love for God’s Word, a strong commitment to the gospel at home and around the world, and a culture of serving our neighbors through ongoing community partnerships and seasonal initiatives.

A few hallmarks

Worship: A thoughtful blend of historic hymns and modern songs that align with Scripture and sermon content. We cherish hymns (original or new arrangements) and avoid songs that are biblically unsound or written by questionable sources.

Two campuses:

  • Falls Lake Campus: Choir-assisted worship with a 70+ voice choir leading regularly, plus occasional choir anthems.

  • 540 Campus: Band-led worship with a growing team of musicians and vocalists.

Local & global mission: Deep partnership with local charities and schools, regular teams building handicap ramps across the Triangle, Serve NC Week with 200+ volunteers engaged, and an active global missions pipeline with couples being sent and more discerning a call.

Our Worship Commitments

Our worship is God-centered, Bible-saturated, and designed to engage both head and heart with undistracting excellence. We seek the powerful presence of God, value authentic communication, and cultivate a blend of the historic and the contemporary for the good of the body and the glory of Christ.

During Serve NC Week, both Bay Leaf campuses joined churches across North Carolina to serve our communities and share Christ’s love. From landscaping to neighborhood outreach, this video highlights how our church family reflected Jesus through service, compassion, and gospel conversations in the Raleigh area.
