Spring 2022 Bible Studies

Precepts, Mark
Tuesdays, 9:15 – 11:45 AM
January 11 - March 15
Led by Ruth Rowe & Nancy Rooth
Location: Fellowship Hall
Cost: $20.25
The most important question you will ever answer is this: Who do you believe Jesus Christ is? With all the opinions floating around – He’s a good man, a teacher, a prophet, the Son of God – how can you know who is right? Mark’s account of Jesus’ life gives you the answer, and it is more action-packed and fast-paced than the other three Gospel records. Rather than rehearsing what people said about Jesus, Mark shows you what Jesus actually did. As you learn to carefully observe Mark's report, you’ll discover that Jesus left no doubt about who He claimed to be. His miracles demonstrated His authority over sickness and infirmity, spiritual darkness, dead religion, threats from nature, and even death itself.

Job asks big questions about pain, suffering, and God’s sovereignty—and it shows us God is with us through everything.

Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:45 PM
February 2 - May 18
Led by Pam Marion-Street
Location: E-309
Cost: $15.00
So much of our confusion and pain results because we don't know God -- who He really is and how He works in our lives.
But with “Lord, I Want to Know You,” that will all change. When you know God more fully by studying His names -- Creator, Healer, Protector, Provider, and many others -- you'll gain power to stand strong. You'll find strength for times of trial, comfort for pain, and provision for your soul's deepest needs. And your walk with God will be transformed.
Join us as we combine weekly discussions and Kay Arthur’s teaching videos to learn about who He is and how He is our strong tower, our refuge in times of need, in any and every crisis of faith.

Joshua & Ephesians
Cost: $10
You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed. Joshua 23:1
Moses had led Israel up to the border of the Promised Land, but it was his right hand man and
successor, Joshua, who led them in. Joshua is the book of the conquest of Canaan and the settlement of
the people in the land. Every battle and every success is a testimony to God’s faithfulness in keeping His
promises to His people. The people, under Joshua’s faithful leadership proved faithful also, exhibiting
that truly, “Faith is the victory that overcomes the world” (John H. Yates).
Paul’s letter to the Ephesians follows Judges as a New Testament call to faith. Ephesians reminds us of our many spiritual blessings in Christ and calls us to respond with faith.
