Frequently Asked Questions
Come to 12200 Bayleaf Church, Raleigh, NC 27614. Parking attendants will direct you to a spot. Guest spots are located along the sidewalk next to our playground and provide easy access to our main entrance and preschool hall entrance.
We advise getting to the parking lot about 15 minutes before the service begins. If you are checking in kids, plan to get to the parking lot about 20 minutes before the service begins.
You’ll be warmly greeted at the Welcome Center. It is just inside the sliding glass door near the cemetery, and is clearly marked with signage.
If you have preschool aged children, the best entrance for you will be the Preschool Hall entrance accessed from the rear parking lot.
The services are led by our pastors, and the preaching is live. We offer a livestream during our 11:00 AM worship service.
Come as you are! Jesus cares about your heart, not your clothing. We will be glad to see you.
We offer two services at the Falls Lake campus. Both include Biblical, expositional preaching, corporate prayer, Christ-centered worship and singing. We also offer discussion-based small groups that give you a chance to make friends, learn together, and apply God’s truths to your life.
We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome. We will not call on you or ask you to stand up or raise your hand. We do hope you’ll fill out a Connect Card so we can get to know you better, and can help you if you have questions. Come check us out for yourself!
Yes, and the leaders are looking forward to sharing the love of Jesus with them.
Birth through preschool: Our preschool ministry partners with parents to disciple and teach our children. On Sundays we grow through Bible-based activities, devotions, and singing.
If your child is in diapers or is potty training, please bring a diaper bag and a change of clothes. If your child needs a bottle or sippy cup, please bring that as well.
Our preschool is peanut-free. Unless parents specify otherwise, snacks are provided for toddlers and preschoolers. We offer cheerios, goldfish, and water. If your child has any allergy needs, please let us know.
Kids through high school: Older children, including students all the way through high school, also have a place to belong and to make friends. We believe in training by partnering with parents to reach, teach, and equip the next generation. We are committed to helping kids know what it means to follow Christ, know the Bible, know that God loves them, and know how they can be a disciple for Him. We love children and want the next generation to grow up loving and following Jesus!
We have multiple people and resources in place to ensure your child's safety, including an electronic check-in system with name tags and pick-up tags, as well as a greeting and security team. All volunteers, teachers, and staff are background checked and required to complete a MinistrySafe training program prior to serving our amazing children. Volunteers must also be members of Bay Leaf, go through a screening process, and complete a safe child commitment form.
Sunday Groups are for adults and students. They meet at 9:45 AM and are designed to help foster meaningful and accountable relationships, plus they provide an opportunity to review the sermon. Our group leaders will facilitate discussion so that you can apply the truths of Scripture to your everyday life. Preschool and elementary students will dive deeper into The Gospel Project for that week.
