Why We Serve

We serve because Christ first served us.

As we love and serve others, we reflect the heart of Jesus and help others feel seen, known, and cared for. Serving also connects you more deeply to the life of the church — helping you grow in community, purpose, and spiritual maturity.

👉 Find a Place to Serve

There are three main ways to get involved:

Events
Jump in for one-time opportunities to serve at church or in the community — from special events to outreach projects.

Weekend Worship Teams
Help create a welcoming and distraction-free environment on Sundays through roles like greeting, parking, ushering, security, sound, A/V, and livestream.

Ministry Teams
Join an ongoing team that supports the church body throughout the week, such as Baptism Prep, Communion, Hospitality, Bereavement, and Care Ministry.

Some roles — especially teaching opportunities — are limited and require pastoral approval. Most other serving roles, whether it's a one-time event or a monthly commitment, are open to members who are faithful, available, and ready to serve!

You can join a team at any point throughout the year. However, our primary onboarding season happens in late summer and early fall, when most teams gear up for the new ministry year. Ministry Team leaders typically ask for a one-year commitment.

Not Sure Where to Start?

You don’t have to figure it out alone. If you’re new or just unsure of where you’d fit best, we’d love to help you find your place to serve.
