Building for His Name and Not Our Own: The Lessons of Babel for Today

Why are we building? In Genesis 11:1-9, Pastor Jared Richard walked us through the Tower of Babel and the danger of making a name for ourselves instead of honoring God’s. As we look ahead to what God is doing at our Creedmoor Road Property, we were reminded that we do not build towers to reach heaven because heaven has already come down to us in Jesus Christ. Only when we surrender our pride and align with His mission will He build through us what truly lasts.
