A Sent People

Do we have the same heart for the lost that God does? In Jonah 1, we see a prophet who had received God’s mercy but resisted carrying that mercy to others. Yet God continued to pursue Jonah for the sake of His mission. We have received an even greater mercy through Jesus Christ, who did not run from the people He came to save but willingly gave Himself for us. Because we have received His mercy, we are now sent to declare it to the people God has placed around us.
