Wisdom in Trials

What does it mean to “count it all joy” when life gets hard? In Sunday’s sermon, Pastor Jared Richard unpacked James 1:2-18 to show how God uses trials to reveal genuine faith, strengthen it, and prepare His people for a future of glory. We learned that trials can either lead us down the path of wisdom, which moves from testing to endurance to perseverance to maturity, or the path of foolishness, which moves from temptation to desire to sin to death. Yet when we rest in God, ask for wisdom, repent when needed, and remember His promises, we can face every trial with hope and joy.
