GRAB YOUR PICKAXE AND SHOVEL! VBS IS COMING!
VBS is headed to present-day Israel where discovery awaits at Destination Dig. Kids will unearth more than dirt as they dig up exciting evidence that proves biblical events were not just stories. As junior archaeologists, kids will discover the truth of Jeremiah 29:13 – that God reveals Himself to us when we seek and search for Him with all our hearts.
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Unearthing the Truth about Jesus!
WHEN IS VBS?
June 14-17, 2021 | Bay Leaf Campus
WHAT TIME IS VBS?
9:00 AM – 12:15 PM
WHAT AGES CAN ATTEND VBS?
Kindergarten through 5th grade can join us as junior archaeologists at Destination Dig! Age groups for children are based on the grade last completed (2020-2021 school year).
WHAT ARE VBS HEALTH GUIDELINES?
Masks are optional for both children and leaders/volunteers. We are asking parents not to send their child(ren) to VBS if they or anyone in their family are displaying symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, nausea, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell, body aches, or any other symptoms demonstrating illness.
WHEN CAN I REGISTER MY CHILD?
Registration has begun! Space is limited, and registration will be on a first come, first served basis. See below for info on early-bird and general registration.
Registration is now open online for everyone!
We need numerous volunteers (adults and youth) to serve at VBS, and we hope you will join us! If you would like to serve and have children in kindergarten through fifth grade, make sure to register your children as soon as possible as space is limited. If you are desiring to serve but have a child that is younger than kindergarten, our preschool hall will be open for the children of our leaders and volunteers. Be sure to fill out a registration form for your preschooler as well.
Desiring to serve in a lead role?
Awesome! We simply ask that you have been an active, Bay Leaf resident member for at least 6 months prior to serving.
Desiring to serve, but not a Bay Leaf member?
We have a place for you, too! If you are not a member but have been attending Bay Leaf for at least 6 months, we would love for you to serve in one of our numerous assistant roles.
What are Bay Leaf’s volunteer safety measures?
All adults serving at VBS must be a member or must have attended Bay Leaf for at least the past six months. All adults serving must also have a current, completed background check on file at Bay Leaf before being allowed to serve at VBS.
How do I sign up to serve?
Registration to serve as a volunteer is now open! Simply click on the button below to fill out our volunteer registration form and one of our VBS directors will be in touch to help place you in your perfect serving position.
