Exodus 19

A Dangerous Propsoal

God brings His people to Mount Sinai and invites them into covenant with Him, reminding them first that they are a people He has already rescued and brought near. This Sunday, Pastor Jared Richard will lead us through Exodus 19 as we consider both the grace of God’s invitation and the reality of His holiness. In this passage, we begin to see what it means to belong to Him as His treasured possession and to listen carefully to His voice. Take a few moments this weekend to read these verses and reflect on how God calls His people to Himself. Listening to the songs ahead of time can also help prepare your heart as we gather to worship together.

Lyrics

Come all you weary
Come all you thirsty
Come to the well
That never runs dry
Drink of the Water
Come and thirst no more

Come all you sinners
Come find His mercy
Come to the table
He will satisfy
Taste of His goodness
Find what you’re looking for

For God so loved
The world that He gave us
His one and only
Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him
Will live forever

Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down
At the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting there
With open arms
See His open arms

For God so loved
The world that He gave us
His one and only
Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him
Will live forever

The power of Hell
Forever defeated
Now it is well
I’m walking in freedom
For God so loved
God so loved the world

Praise God
Praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise Him
Praise Him
For the wonders of His love

Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down
At the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting
God so loved the world

Lyrics

When the enemy surrounds
And my heart grows faint within
When the darkness overwhelms
And my fears are pressing inI will trust in You, oh, Lord
In the silence I will wait
I will stand upon Your word

You're my solid rock
And my salvation
My steadfast hope
That won't be shaken
My soul will wait
My soul will wait for You

You're my stronghold and my shield
In the midst of every threat
Though the wicked never yield
They will vanish like a breathYes, I know the outcome's sure
Satan's evil plans will fail
In Your power I'm secure

You're my solid rock
And my salvation
My steadfast hope
That won't be shaken
My soul will wait
My soul will wait for You

You're my comfort
When I feel forsaken
My refuge and
My sure foundation
My soul will wait
My soul will wait for You

This is love, I can't explain
This is mercy unreserved
Through Your sacrifice so great
I have peace that's undeserved

For the battle has been won
And I fear no shame or loss
Now the sting of death is gone

You're my solid rock
And my salvation
My steadfast hope
That won't be shaken
My soul will wait
My soul will wait for You

You're my comfort
When I feel forsaken
My refuge and
My sure foundation
My soul will wait
My soul will wait for You

Pouring out our hearts before You
We will trust in You
Perfect Savior, strong defender
We will trust in You

Lyrics

For my waking breath for my daily bread
I depend on You, I depend on You

For the sun to rise for my sleep at night
I depend on You, I depend on You

You're the way the truth and the life
You're the well that never runs dry
I'm the branch and You are the vine
Draw me close and teach me to abide

Where the Spirit leads as I'm following
I depend on You, I depend on You

For the victories still in front of me
I depend on You, I depend on You

You're the way the truth and the life
You're the well that never runs dry
I'm the branch and You are the vine
Draw me close and teach me to abide

Be my strength my song in the night
Be my all my treasure my prize
I am Yours forever Your mine
Draw me close and teach me to abide

When I pass through death as I enter rest
I depend on You, I depend on You

For eternal life to be raised with Christ
I depend on You, I depend on You

You're the way the truth and the life
You're the well that never runs dry
I'm the branch and You are the vine
Draw me close and teach me to abide

Be my strength my song in the night
Be my all my treasure my prize
I am Yours forever Your mine
Draw me close and teach me to abide

Is He Worthy?

Lyrics

Do you feel the world is broken?
(We do)
Do you feel the shadows deepen?
(We do)
But do you know that all the dark won't
Stop the light from getting through?
(We do)

Do you wish that you could see it all made new?
We do)Is all creation groaning?
(It is)
Is a new creation coming?
(It is)
Is the glory of the Lord to be the light within our midst?
(It is)
Is it good that we remind ourselves of this?
(It is)

Is anyone worthy? Is anyone whole?
Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll?
The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave
He was David's root and the Lamb who died to ransom the slave

Is He worthy? Is He worthy?
Of all blessing and honor and glory
Is He worthy of this?
He is

Does the Father truly love us?
(He does)
Does the Spirit move among us?
(He does)
And does Jesus, our Messiah hold forever those He loves?
(He does)
Does our God intend to dwell again with us?
(He does

)Is anyone worthy?
Is anyone whole?
Is anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll?
The Lion of Judah who conquered the grave
He is David's root and the Lamb who died to ransom the slave

From every people and tribe
Every nation and tongue
He has made us a kingdom and priests to God
To reign with the SonIs He worthy? Is He worthy?
Of all blessing and honor and glory

Is He worthy? Is He worthy?
Is He worthy of this?

He is!
Is He worthy? Is He worthy?
He is!
He is!
