Isaiah 11:1-10

Victory Over Brokenness

A promise of renewal rises from Isaiah 11 as the prophet describes a Spirit-anointed King who will bring perfect righteousness and lasting peace. Pastor Jared will lead us through this hope filled vision as we look to Christ, the One who brings victory over our brokenness. Take time this weekend to read Isaiah 11 verses 1 through 10 and let its promise steady your heart as we gather. Spend a few moments with the songs for this week in preparation for coming together in worship.

Lyrics

Angels from the realms of glory
Wing your flight o'er all the earth
You who sang creation's story
Now proclaim Messiah's birth

Come and worship
Come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King

Shepherds in the field abiding
Watching o'er your flocks by night
God with man is now residing
Yonder shines the infant light

Come and worship
Come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King

Emmanuel, Emmanuel
You are the God who's with us
Worthy of all our praises
Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Come have Your way among us
We welcome You here, Lord Jesus
Come have Your way among us
We welcome You here, Lord Jesus

Come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King

God is with us
Even now His love is here
Come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King

God is with us
Even now His love is here
His love is here

Emmanuel, Emmanuel
You are the God who's with us
Worthy of all our praises
Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Come have Your way among us
We welcome You here, Lord Jesus
Come have Your way among us
We welcome You here, Lord Jesus

Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Emmanuel, Emmanuel

Lyrics

Rejoice in the Lord now and always
Sing it again, we rejoice
Delight in the love he has shown us
Gratefully lift up your voice

His gentleness among us
Will join our hearts with praise
We gather in his goodness
A family of grace

With each breath, he's given Christ the Lord
In these times we live in, we will praise the Lord
Throughout every season, I am sure
We have every reason to praise the Lord

Rejoice and be anxious for nothing
Praying for all that you need
Come with a song of thanksgiving
Lay your requests at his feet.

His peace will fall upon us
To guard our hearts and minds
In Christ who reigns eternal
The shepherd of our lives

\With each breath, he's given Christ the Lord
In these times we live in, we will praise the Lord
Throughout every season, I am sure
We have every reason to praise the Lord

Rejoice in the Lord now and always
Tell of the good he has done
Worship the Lord to remember
All of the joy yet to come

The hope that burns within us
The dark cannot destroy
With praise that's never ending
We say again rejoice

With each breath, he's given Christ the Lord
In these times we live in, we will praise the Lord
Throughout every season I am sure
We have every reason to praise the Lord
We have every reason to praise the Lord

Go Tell It On The Mountain

Lyrics

Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere.
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born.

While shepherds kept their watching
O'er silent flocks by night,
Behold thru-out the heavens
There shone a holy light.

Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere.
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born.

The shepherds feared and trembled
When lo! above the earth
Rang out the angel chorus
That hailed our Savior's birth.

Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere.
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born.

Down in a lowly manger
The humble Christ was born,
And God sent us salvation
That blessed Christmas morn.

Go, tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere.
Go, tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born.

Lyrics

Come, Thou long-expected Jesus,
Born to set Thy people free;

From our fears and sins release us;
Let us find our rest in Thee.

Israel’s strength and consolation,
Hope of all the earth Thou art;

Dear desire of every nation,
Joy of every longing heart.

Born Thy people to deliver,
Born a child, and yet a King,

Born to reign in us forever, now
Thy gracious kingdom bring.

By Thine own eternal Spirit
Rule in all our hearts alone;

By Thine own sufficient merit,
Raise us to Thy glorious throne.

By Thine own eternal Spirit
Rule in all our hearts alone;

By Thine own sufficient merit,
Raise us to Thy glorious throne.
