Training Up the Next Generation

Bay Leaf Kids is excited to partner with parents to do all we can to help reach, teach, and equip the next generation. That’s why we are committed to helping kids know what it means to follow Christ, know the Bible, know that God loves them, and know how they can be a disciple for Him. We LOVE children and want the next generation to grow up loving and following Jesus!

FAQs

Your child’s safety is very important to us! All leaders, staff, and volunteers are required to complete a background check and complete MinistrySafe training prior to serving with our amazing kids.

If your child has made the decision to follow Jesus, we want to celebrate with your family and help you navigate next steps. Our New Believers Class is a 5-week class aimed to help kids who have made a decision to follow Christ fully understand the implications and truth of that commitment. Kids discover "what's next," what it means to be a disciple, and applicably begin to learn how they can share the gospel, share their testimony, study the Bible, and pray. Class is also a prerequisite for baptism.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision for Christ. If your child has questions about baptism or is desiring to be baptized, we want to partner and celebrate with you. Next steps include setting up a baptism interview with the Kids Ministry Director, which will give us an opportunity to meet your family, ensure your child understands baptism, and give you both a chance to ask questions. Any child wishing to baptized must also go through our 5-week New Believers Class before being baptized.
