Christmas Gifts for Southeastern Seminary Families

For more than 30 years, Bay Leaf Baptist Church has had the privilege of hosting Toy Chest for Southeastern Seminary families. It is one small way we hope to encourage your family during the Christmas season by making gifts for your children available at a fraction of their retail cost. Whether this is your first Toy Chest or you have joined us before, we would love for your family to participate.

What You'll Find at Toy Chest

Registered families will have the opportunity to:

Shop for new toys at approximately 10% of retail cost, with a maximum of four toys or $7 per child.
Purchase a bicycle for $10. A variety of sizes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Shop the Quarter Aisle for gently loved toys and other items for just 25¢ each.
Enter drawings for premium items for $10 per entry. Families may enter drawings for items appropriate for the age of their child.

Who Can Participate?

Toy Chest is available to Southeastern Seminary students who are currently:

Enrolled in at least 3 graduate-level credit hours, or
Actively completing thesis or doctoral work.

Eligibility will be verified using Southeastern Seminary's fall enrollment information.

Please submit one registration per household under the name of the enrolled student. You will need the student's 9-digit Southeastern Seminary ID number when registering.

During registration, you will also be asked to provide information for children living in your household, newborn through age 18.

Registration Opens October 1

Online registration opens Thursday, October 1 at 9:00 AM. The first 25 eligible students to register will also be entered into a drawing for a $100 Walmart gift card.

What to Expect on November 7

Please bring your SEBTS student ID with you to Toy Chest.

Registered families will receive additional information by email as November 7 approaches, including arrival, check-in, shopping, and drawing details.
