The Education of Pharaoh: The Folly of Human Pride in the Face of God’s Glory
Pastor Jared Richard preached from Exodus 7-11 on the fundamental question "Who is the Lord?" that drives the entire Exodus narrative. Through the plagues of Egypt, God reveals His glory by demonstrating both His supreme power over all creation and His remarkable mercy, challenging Pharaoh and all people to respond with either softened hearts in true repentance or hardened hearts in stubborn resistance. Pastor Richard warned that like Pharaoh, we face the same choice when confronted with God's Revelation in Jesus Christ - we must surrender completely to Him rather than resist His word, which only leads to increasing hardness of heart and eventual judgment.
